Nokia: Symbian, S40 To Exit Out Of North America



That the devices of Nokia at the launch of their mobile homes first Windows 7, the Finnish giant announced it will withdraw its S40 and Symbian phones out of the North American market.

This information is forwarded by the President of Nokia Inc., Weber, an interview with Chris AllThingsD. In his view, is out for Nokia Symbian S50 and business in North America, when the launch of Windows 7 Phone devices. Their focus is therefore only new phones and related accessories. Nokia knows that this could be their last chance of a return, and if nothing else fails it does not work, as has been demonstrated that the mediocre success of other Nokia platforms in North America.

As with Windows Mobile 7, Weber said that Nokia put a lot of effort and investment in them and the phones have developed in and for North America and sold worldwide. We hope that their efforts are in vain.
